HUD Collecting Public Comments on HERA's Data Collection Requirement
On March 30th, HUD published a notice in the Federal Register
seeking public feedback on the standards, definitions, and procedures for
collecting the required data beyond the working group it formed last October.

2009 Income Limits Released
On March 19, 2009 HUD released the income limits for 2009. And,
as expected, a separate data set was created for properties which HUD labels as

 In January 2000, Elizabeth Moreland
Consulting, Inc.
introduced a new Housing Credit Designation to the industry called the
National Compliance Professional (NCP). Created to allow industry
professionals an opportunity to prove their dedication and knowledge in the
compliance aspects
of the Housing Credit
Program, the designation includes a professional certification and a
Membership Group.
Elizabeth
Moreland, President of Elizabeth Moreland Consulting, Inc.
and the Housing Credit
College, felt an additional designation was needed despite the numerous other industry designations that are available.
"It was time our industry and the people in the
trenches had a designation and Membership Group that was affordable and actually
assisted them in the monumental task of maintaining compliance,"
